Florida Visit with Advanced Films

What makes a dealer successful? Is it as simple as hard work, determination, focus and a strong will? Yes if these efforts are focused on the right things! 
I (David E Ewing) spent several days making sales calls all over Florida with Mike Feldman President ofAdvanced Film Solutions Inc of Florida and was Impressed by Mr Feldmans Sales and Marketing operations. He is the KING of window film marketing! 
 Don’t get me wrong, they provide excellent service and impeccable installations similar to our operation atMade In The Shade Inc.Other similarities include that: it is a family owned operation. Mike and his son Adam do the sales and Marketing and Mikes wife Michelle helps in the office and with the bookkeeping. 
MITSINCIs headed by myself David, and I handle most of the sales and marketing with the added help of my lovely wife Leslie who also runs the office and my son Jacob David that helps with installations.
Both companies provide work for 1-3 installers; Both Companies offerPremium choices for vehicle window filmneeds. Both companies offer more than just one brand of film, between them they carry;Huber Optic ,Vista ,Llumar ,Geo Shield ,Madico ,Sunscape Select ,Madico Advanced Ceramics ,Suntek ,Madico Decolite, Sungard as well as other graphic and designer films, and last but not least isVKool. 
Both areInternational Window Film Association members andSolar ControlandSecurity filmexperts. Both Carry the proper Insurances to protect their customers. Both install film on Home, Office, Auto and RV. 
Another thing shared that also brought us together is our past alliance with the old 3M Company. Mike was a33 year veteranand the US Area Manager of the window film department for the 3M Company and David was anAdvanced certified Trainerfor over 10 years with 3M and the largest dealer in the SW US. 
We also shared the obvious view that one manufacture did not meet all customers needs and that the dealer is a customer to be serviced, and quality of product along with selection is paramount to meeting customers needs. Clearly 3M was not the company to provide that for our end user customers. 
The desire to succeed, the competitiveness coupled with a deep integrity are also shared by Mike and I. Doing it right and not just getting it done! Being loyal to family and friends, working hard and serving others is a main shared joy.
